COADAP was established in 2014 under the name of “Erfan Social Association”, at the community level, have conducted so many social activities such as, organizing literacy training classes for women and men, building small libraries in the community, conducting awareness sessions for youth in order to encourage them to study, and integrating in social activities to build community cohesion. COADAP is registered with the government of Afghanistan as an NGO in 23rd of April 2022. COADAP is an Afghan NGO that implements social development activities in Afghanistan. COADAP works for the development and relief of marginalized communities to achieve economic prosperity and improve humanitarian and social capital through delivering social, educational, and livelihood services to vulnerable societies.

During the coronavirus epidemic in 2020, through providing funds from a category of people living abroad and local benefactors, 2109 most vulnerable beneficiaries were identified through door-to-door survey in several villages of Injil District and have been covered through distribution of Food Packages and Cash for 8 rounds distribution process Now on, in addition to the activities of the Association that has been done for about eight years in Herat like food & cash distribution, conducting awareness session for local community, conducting educational and literacy classes for the people, mostly in Injil district of Herat, , we developed our social and developmental activities within the framework of the Cooperation Organization for the Abiding Development of Afghan People (COADAP), using our past experiences in cooperation and development of community in the western region of Afghanistan.
